About our speaker

Jaymie Forrest, Chief Supply Chain Officer & Chief Commercial Officer ScanTech Sciences, Inc., has 25+ years of experience in all aspects of supply chain planning and management as a consultant, operator, technology executive and as an educator. Currently the Chief Supply Chain and Commercial Officer of ScanTech Sciences, Inc., funded by the largest pension fund in the USA to design, manufacture and operate treatment facilities for food and health devices prior to distribution. Former management consultant and global supply chain practice lead, previously managed Georgia Tech’s Supply Chain and Logistics Institute for six years, a senior marketing and business development executive for numerous supply chain and logistics software companies and spent 11 years as principal of Neogistics, a boutique firm specializing in distribution strategies with offices in US, Mexico and Argentina. She has worked with many clients including Chevron, DHL, Unilever, J&J, PepsiCo, Excel Logistics, FedEx, Bimbo, Waste Management, Pacific Gas and Electric, Archer Daniels Midland, Wal-Mart and distribution projects throughout the Coca Cola bottling network in 35 countries just to name a few. Ms. Forrest formed the President’s Logistics Council in 2010 for the Republic of Panama that is still active for special projects today.

Current Chairman of the Technology Association of Georgia’s Supply Chain and Logistics Society and recognized as one of the top female supply chain executives in 2015 and 2013 by Supply and Demand Chain Executive magazine, a Cold Chain Pro to Know, as well as finalist for Supply Chain Professional of the Year in Atlanta in 2012, she has been busy speaking and educating on the transportation implications of the Food Safety Modernization Act since it was proposed to Congress in 2009. Ms. Forrest is a certified logistics engineer, earned a BS from the Georgia Institute of Technology, holds an MBA and certified in International Marketing from L’Ecole Superieure du Commerce Exterieur in Paris, France.
